Based on the latest regulations and our experience over the past year and a half, we have reviewed and updated our Green Finance Framework, first published in 2022, and validated by an independent expert opinion from Deloitte.

As a committed supporter of green investments, projects and financing solutions, we revised our EXIM Green Finance Framework 2022 to promote the sustainability ambitions and environmental goals of domestic businesses as widely as possible. Drawing on the experience of the past nearly one and a half years, we have focused on clarifying the Framework and we have also added the green rules of multilateral development banks and bond financing in line with the Green Bond Principles.

The Framework, effective from 2 January 2024, has been developed in line with the updated Green Loan Principles, which are confirmed by the attached independent expert opinion, the Second Party Opinion, issued by Deloitte.

ATTENTION! In the case of green loans offered under the Gábor Baross Reindustrialisation Loan Program 2024, which will start on 15 January 2024, the rules of the Framework are applicable!
